Individuals who are unable to complete the certification maintenance requirements to Recertify by Examination or Recertify by CE & Clinical Practice due to extenuating circumstances related to the 2020-2021 coronavirus pandemic may request a hardship temporary extension. An extension of time does not relieve the applicant of their responsibility to complete the requirements by the end of the extension period. Only written requests are accepted and are subject to approval.
