The 2022 Commissioner election was held October 15-29, 2022. AANPCB is pleased to announce Josie A. Weiss, PhD, FNP-BC, PPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FAANP (FL) , who has been reelected to the board, and Lorraine M. Reiser, PhD, CRNP, FNP-C, FAANP (ME) will serve as commissioners beginning January 1, 2023. They will represent Family Nurse Practitioners for a 3-year term.

AANPCB would like to express gratitude to Dixie L. Harms, DNP, ARNP, FNP-C, BC-ADM, FAANP, whose term will end on December 31, 2022, for her years of service to our nurse practitioners and certifying board.

AANPCB-certified nurse practitioners who voted were entered into a drawing for the opportunity to win a waiver of their next recertification fee. Four names were selected at random following the close of the election and the winners have been notified via email. Thank you to all who participated in this year's election process.
