The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) Commissioner Election is held every October. The Board of Commissioners (BOC) governs the AANPCB organization and its certification programs. The election for four BOC positions is scheduled for Sunday, October 15, 2023 and will close midnight (PST) Saturday, October 28, 2023.
All AANPCB-certified nurse practitioners are encouraged to vote for these very important positions. Certificants will receive an email from aanpcbelection@prestigetech.com with instructions and a link to their secure ballot when voting opens.
This year’s four open board positions consist of two representing Family Nurse Practitioners, one representing Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioners, and one new position representing Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners.
Voters participating in this election will be entered into a random drawing in which AANPCB will award five certificants with a $100 Amazon gift card. Winners will be notified by Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
