October 2017 - Commissioner Elections are held annually in October via secure electronic voting format. Certificants will soon receive electronic notification from aanpcbelection@prestigetech.com with instructions for candidates representing Adult/Gerontology Primary Care and Family Nurse Practitioners. There are 4 candidates on the ballot this year. The ballot will open on October 15th and close at midnight (PST) on October 28th, 2017.

All voters will be entered into a random drawing to receive a voucher for waiver of their next Recertification application fee. Two (2) waivers will be awarded.

The Board of Commissioners is responsible for the administration and development of the Certification Programs for ANPs, A-GNPs, ENPs, FNPs, and GNPs. NPs currently certified by AANPCB are responsible for electing the Commissioners. All Certificants are encouraged to vote for these very important positions. To be elected a Commissioner, eligible candidates must receive a majority vote. Once elected, duties on the Certification Board begin January 1, 2018 for a 3-year term.
