Primary Source Verification Services

Verification Fees and Payment Options:

Online verification by employer costs $40 USD per AANPCB Certification Specialty for each Certificant. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, AMEX, voucher numbers, or paper checks.

Verification Requirements:

To successfully verify a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will need the NP's last name and an AANPCB certification number that begins with one of the specific prefixes indicating the type of certification (e.g., A for Adult, AG for Adult-Gerontology). Ensure the NP's certification is active before proceeding. If you submit a verification request before the certification process is completed, the verification letter will state that the individual is not certified.

Pre-Paid Verification Vouchers:

Employers and related organizations can purchase Prepaid Verification Vouchers, valid for 1 year, starting at a minimum of $80 (2 vouchers) up to a maximum of $25,000 (625 vouchers). Vouchers are non-refundable once the order is processed and are sent via email after purchase.

Please be aware that the payment is non-refundable once a verification request is made.

Additional Information:

During the certification application process, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) conducts primary source verification of Nurse Practitioner education credentials based on registrar-sealed official transcripts from the applicant's university.
